IMPORTANT (Please Read): The Aqua Energy Leisure Centre will be closed until further notice following the return to Stage 3 COVID-19 restrictions set by the State Government. More information is available here.

Following a return to Stage 3 COVID-19 restrictions set by the State Government on the advice from the Chief Health Officer, Aqua Energy will be closed until further notice from the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services.

We ask that you take time to read all of the information provided to find the answers to any FAQ's that you have.

Frequently Asked Questions

I have a direct debit membership, what will happen with my fortnightly payments?

Fortnightly payments will cease and not be taken until Aqua Energy reopens. Members will be notified before any further payments are to be taken.

 

Do I need to put my direct debit membership on suspension during the closure?

No, while we are closed your membership will be placed on hold. Your membership will automatically resume once the facility reopens.

 

What if I don’t want my direct debit membership to restart once the facility reopens, but don’t want my membership cancelled altogether?

You can complete a Membership Variation Form to suspend your membership for a time period outside of the closure. We will only accept suspensions until 31 December 2020, at this stage.

 

I want to cancel my direct debit membership, what do I need to do?

You can cancel your direct debit membership by completing a Membership Cancellation Form.

 

I have an active up front membership or visit pass, what will happen?

All active upfront memberships and visit passes will have the lost time added once a reopening date is announced.

 

My child is enrolled in swimming lessons and I pay by direct debit, what will happen with my fortnightly payment?

Fortnightly payments will cease for swimming lessons and no payments will recommence until Swim School is back up and running. Before Swim School returns you will be contacted by a member of our Swim School team to discuss your options.

 

Can I hire or loan gym or fitness equipment from Aqua Energy?

No, we are unable to hire or loan any equipment during the closure.

 

How will I know when you are expected to reopen?

We will send an email to members who have opted to receive email notifications when registering. If you are a current member and would like to start receiving email updates, please send a request to aquaenergy@wellington.vic.gov.au to be added to the list.

We will also advertise any changes to operations via Facebook at Aqua Energy and place messaging in the Gippsland Times newspaper.

Outdoor Fitness Classes

COVIDSafe outdoor Group Fitness classes held by Aqua Energy staff at the Gippsland Regional Sports Complex are recommencing Monday 21 September 2020. Classes will cost $7 per class, payable by EFTPOS only at the time of the class.  Check out the Timetable and register for a class here.

Virtual Workouts

Free virtual Aqua Energy group fitness classes are available via Facebook at Aqua Energy. There's something for everyone and you have the flexibility to follow along at your own pace.
